Mary Hall, our President, convened the Embroiderers’ Guild AGM on Saturday 23rd July and we welcome Jane Hyde, Valerie Keily and Margaret Baxter onto the committee. Congratulations to all those new and returning committee members. We wish you well for the coming busy year.
Once again, the Guild will be having a SALA display during August. This will showcase original contemporary textile designs created by our members. A showcase of colour and texture inspired by the world around us. Also keep checking the website as more classes from our Summer “Spring into Stitching” are added. A week of stitching with like minded people in a comfortable environment. This is a chance to try something new or to advance your skills in a technique you enjoy. Something for everyone.
