April Update

Summer is coming to an end but there is always something new at the Guild to help the winter days pass quicker. The Smocking and Hedebo Group have some of their work displayed in the gallery this month. Very different types of stitching but both creating beautiful work.

A new evening group has started up on the third Tuesday of each month and is open to all members. So if you find it hard to get to a day group but enjoy stitching with people who share your interest, or passion, come along. This group is for all levels of stitchers and help is available for that problem stitch or colour/design decision. It will run from 7pm to 9.30pm and everyone is welcome.

There are new classes on offer in May, June, and July. All the classes are suitable for any level of ability and kits are available for all the projects and in different colour ways than those shown. The wool embroidery class is particularly good for beginners and anyone wanting to discover the tricks of working with wool blanketing and lots of glitz. You can book your spot online or by ringing the Guild Office Monday to Thursday 9.30am to 2.30pm.
