End of Year News

The Guild held a very successful Christmas Market day on December 4th. Lots of well priced books, threads and completed items found new homes.

The City of West Torrens Council invited the Guild to make the star for their inaugural community Christmas tree. The completed star can be seen at the Hamra Centre at the top of the  tree. The Star is made from individual pieces that members stitched and were then made up into a large festive glittery star. Well done to all those members who contributed.

There will be an exhibition at the North Adelaide Community Centre in April titled TEXTILES with a TWIST so all members interested need to lodge their entry by March 19th 2022.

Three new classes in February and March with Christine Bishop and Alison Cole are now open for bookings and if you are interested in an online design class please contact the Office during office hours. The Guild and the Office are closing on December the 18th and while members and groups will return from January the 10th the Office will remain closed until January 16th. In 2022 the office will have new office hours, 9.30-2.30 Monday to Thursday
