Learn how to stitch and construct a gorgeous velvet Strawberry filled with either emery or lavender. You can choose from a selection of sumptuous 100% cotton velveteen in gorgeous colours, perfect your stem stitch and embellish with beads or French Knots. Lastly you will learn how to make the perfect twisted cord and top your strawberry with a silver metal cap. Alternate strawberry toppers will be demonstrated and samples available for future berry making inspiration. The hardest part of the day will be choosing which colour you want for your strawberries. You should be able to leave with at least one completed berry to attach to a pair of scissors, tuck into your lingerie, hang from an antique key or give to a friend.
The kit for this class is $25.00, payable in cash to the tutor on the day.
