Textile Collage Seascape 2 day workshop with Rosi Gates

Create your own impressionistic seascape A4 size or smaller. You can work from your own photo or from one of those provided. You will create your own ‘pallette’ of materials on day 1 you will experiment with various techniques and materials to create potential skies, rocks, seas etc using paint, paper, fabric, specialty materials and heat. From this created palette you will build your picture adding fabric to create your seascape and then on Day 2 stitch together by hand, machine (or both) adding detail as desired. Methods of mounting will also be covered on Day 2.
