Pick-a-Fish 2 day workshop with Melissa Walker

Pick one fish, or choose to stitch a whole school, the choice is yours. Learn various ways to use metal threads, beads and sequins to complete your fish. Bring items from your own stash or supplement your supplies by purchasing from a selection of items that will be available during the class. Learn different ways to use metal plate, purl and pearl purl, sequins and/or sequin waste, and beads, as well as tips and tricks for how to cut and apply leather shapes. Simple stumpwork techniques will also be taught so you can use this technique create fins.
