Persian Chair 2 day workshop with Ann-Marie Anderson-Mayes

The Persian Chair is a miniature chair worked in a variety of needlepoint stitches on 24-count Congress Cloth. I used my hand-dyed, stranded silks for the original version, but it will work just as well if you choose stranded cottons or other fibres suitable for 24-count fabric. The design was inspired by the stylistic combination of geometric and floral motifs often seen in Persian style designs. The finished size is approximately 15cm wide x 11cm deep and 17cm tall.
