Denmark Dreaming 2 day workshop with Ann-Marie Anderson-Mayes

My parents live in the small, seaside town of Denmark on the south coast of WA. It looks nothing like these designs (!!!), but these pieces, created by my Mum, are very reminiscent of harbourside scenes in Copenhagen. So, we give you “Denmark Dreaming” – two cityscapes where each building is filled with different canvaswork filling stitches. These designs are great for extending your creative confidence. You will receive charts and instructions for both layouts; learn about creating texture with small stitches and compensating at the edge of shapes; and have lots of fun playing with colour. This project is also a great stash buster. You are welcome to dive into your collection of threads left over from previous projects and use them to build up a unique colour scheme.

On 24-count, the finished size of each design is 23cm x 16.5cm. If students prefer not to work on 24-count fabric, this design will work beautifully on 18-count as well (finished size 31cm x 22cm).
