Canvaswork Landscape 2 day workshop with Di Kirchner

Transform your own landscape photo into stitches. Students will be taken through several steps and encouraged to experiment with:

*Counted canvaswork stitches

*Thread textures, thicknesses and compositions

*Ways of blending threads to make new colours

*Embellishments

The size of the project will be A5, approximately 15cm x 21cm and stitched on 18 count antique coloured mono canvas mounted on a frame.

– some canvas will be available for purchase on the day if students cannot find their own

Closing date Friday 6th November 2026

– suitable for students with some embroidery experience
