African Violet Pincushions with Tessa Chaplin

This adorable mini African Violet is a pincushion. In this half day workshop you will learn how to make a felt ball, cut leaves and petals and how to assemble the pieces into a realistic violet sitting in a tiny terracotta pot.

Your kit will have enough materials for 2 pincushions – one to keep and one to gift or if you can’t part with them, they are the perfect size to pop into project bags.

There will be lots of different colours available for your African Violet Flowers.

Measuring in at a tiny 3 x 5cm you will need to have nimble fingers to manage the tiny pieces and it is recommended that you bring magnification too.

Please make sure your scissors are sharp right to the tips- I recommend Karen Kay Buckley 6” Perfect Scissors for all Felt Work.
