Christmas is coming and as we head into the break a reminder to all members that the office will be closed from the 16th of December to the 16th of January. Many groups are having their final gathering for 2022 but are looking forward to meeting again in early January 2023. It has been an interesting year as the Guild recovers from restrictions caused by Covid and 2023 will see the Guild back to a full programme of exhibitions and classes. The break over Christmas gives us all time to stitch wonderful things for our members exhibition held in March (4th to 19th), more information on this in January. Those members that have borrowed books are able to keep them until February 1st as there is limited access to the Guild library. The 2023 workshop lists for the Certificate Course and JEMS are now available and further information will be added as it becomes available.
A Special General Meeting has been called for February 6th, 2023. Both the notice of motion and the proxy form for those that cannot attend are available in the members section of the website.
Have a safe and happy break with family and friends over Christmas and we look forward to seeing members in 2023.
Works in progress. Will they be finished in the Christmas break?
